“It‘s because I am not mechanically inclined. That was the consensus for why I would never amount to anything. I have no talent when it comes to my hands. I can’t saw or nail. I can’t sand or trace. Let’s face it I am not mechanically inclined. I can’t plaster or trowel. Or even dig or rake. I get it, I’m not mechanically inclined.”

Dear Anonymous Job Seeker,
As one trumps to find a new job, there can be a sense that you are now at the last train station and everybody has already gotten off. Then again, this is not always the case for the next path may bring you to the adjacent funicular that raises your spirits above and beyond what was expected when you first got yourself into this mess. Just because you have wandered in and out of dictations and catch phrases like, “ability to multi-task,” “good earnings potential,” and the always ominous “experience is necessary” still requires you to beg politely for employment. The sunny days are sunnier and the rainy days will only make the snow look prettier.
